In Praise of Palestine Red Cross – The Voice of Hind Rajab

Yesterday, we went to see The Voice of Hind Rajab, and it left us completely shaken. It’s one of the most powerful and heartbreaking films ever made — one that becomes a part of you and stays with you forever.

Written and directed by Oscar-nominated Kaouther Ben Hania, it tells the true story of a 5-year-old girl trapped under fire in Gaza, and the incredible Palestine Red Crescent responders who tried to reach her. Watching it, I felt both grief and admiration — grief for what was lost, and deep respect for those who refused to give up on her.

This isn’t just a film you watch — it’s one you carry.
