Surah Yasin as the protector: Story of Ibn-e-Arabi

Surah Yasin as the protector: Story of Ibn-e-Arabi

“There are moments in life when the unseen feels closer than the world around us.

I once fell gravely ill and slipped into a deep coma. To those around me, it seemed as though I had already left this world. But within that darkness, I was not alone. I encountered terrifying beings—overwhelming, hostile, and intent on harm. Fear consumed me.

Then, suddenly, everything changed.

A presence appeared—powerful yet gentle, radiant and filled with a beautiful fragrance. It stood between me and what threatened me, shielding me completely. With calm authority, it overcame those beings, as though their power was nothing.

I asked, “Who are you?”

The reply came with clarity and reassurance: “I am Surah Ya-Sin. I am your protector.”

Soon after, I awoke.

The first thing I saw was my father, standing beside me, tears streaming down his face. His voice trembled as he completed the recitation of Ya-Sin”
