Sanam Marvi is a Pakistani folk and Sufi singer born in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, in 1986. She is known for her soulful and powerful renditions of traditional Sufi poetry and folk songs in various languages, including Sindhi, Punjabi, and Urdu. Sanam Marvi began her music career by performing at Sufi shrines and local festivals in Sindh. She gained nationwide recognition after appearing on the Pakistani TV show “Coke Studio” in 2009. Since then, she has released several albums and has performed in various countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.
