“Mann Kunto Maula” by Zila Khan is a mesmerizing composition, based on the beautiful poetry of the revered 13th-century Sufi poet, Hazrat Amir Khusrow. The phrase “Mann Kunto Maula”  [مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلاَهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلاَهُ )] translates to “Whomever I am the master of, Ali is his master,” . This Hadith reflects the reverence and authority of Hazrat Ali R.A. in both Sunni and Shia traditions.
