Noha of Hazrat Imam Hussain is a genre that was revolutionized by poets such as Mir Anis and Mirza Dabeer. It remains a part of poetry in Iran, India and Pakistan and performed in many regional langaues such as Sindhi, Punjabi and Seraiki. Shafquat Ali Abro has performed some heart touching nohas in both Urdu and Sindhi.
