Sadequain draws Kalam Allama Iqbal

Sadequian started his career from sketches and portraits, but developed his signature style for flamboyant Murals, Calligraphy Art and his depiction of Urdu Verses. His gigantic painting of Lahore Museum’s entire ceiling, Wapda House Wall, and ceiling of Frere House Karachi screams of his genius.

One the instantly recognisable works of Sadequian remain his rendition of Allama Iqbal, Ghalib and Faiz poems. His painting of Iqbal’s poetry were published as a annual writing pad by National Bank of Pakistan in 1980s.
