دل زندہ و بیدار اگر ہو تو بتدریج

بندے کو عطا کرتے ہیں چشمِ نِگَراں اور

احوال و مقامات پہ موقوف ہے سب کچھ

ہر لحظہ ہے سالک کا زماں اور مکاں اور

الفاظ و معانی میں تفاوت نہیں لیکن

مُلّا کی اذاں اور، مجاہد کی اذاں اور

پرواز ہے دونوں کی اسی ایک فضا میں

کرگس کا جہاں اور ہے، شاہیں کا جہاں اور

 

If the heart if alive and alert, then eventually

[Divine] blessed man with the sight and wisdom

Everything depends on a person’s state and stations

Every moment, Spiritual believer gives him new Time and new Space

Although there is no difference among the words

The Azaam [call for prayer] is different for Mullah [inferior] and Mujahid [superior]

Although both the birds fly in the same skies

The world of inferior vulture is one, and the world of Hawk is another.
