2021 was another year of trials and challenges for many across the world, from the spread of coronavirus to climate change, and calamities across the world. We pray that 2022 brings happiness, peace, safety and health for all.
God has given analogy of this world as inferior as like skin of a date [khajoor], which is also clear in the well-known verse below.
“What is the life of this world but play and amusement?”(al-Anam, 6/32)
It clears any doubt that this life is not about running blindly about inferior goals, ego and desires. It is about understanding God, serving Him, and striving to gain his pleasure and mercy.
May Allah grant us mercy and blessings in 2022 and give us tawfeeq to help other humans, seek real knowledge and wisdom, and grow spiritually.
