With Junaid as their frontman, Vital Signs released several hit albums throughout the 1990s, including their most famous album, “Aitebar”, which featured the hit single “Dil Dil Pakistan”. Junaid’s soulful voice and good looks made him a heartthrob for millions of young fans across Pakistan and beyond.

Despite his success as a pop star, Junaid began to feel dissatisfied with the shallow and materialistic nature of the music industry. He became increasingly interested in spirituality and began to study Islam in depth. In 2001, he announced his decision to leave music and pursue a more meaningful life as a devout Muslim.

For Junaid, the decision to leave music was a difficult one, as he had built his entire career and identity around his music. However, he felt that he could no longer continue to sing about love and romance when he knew that the true purpose of life was to serve Allah.

After leaving music, Junaid began to focus on his Islamic studies and became a popular Islamic scholar and preacher. He released several religious albums, including “Badr-ud-Duja” and “Noor-ul-Huda”, which became immensely popular among his fans.

Junaid also founded a chain of clothing stores called “J.” which specialized in modest clothing for Muslim men and women. The brand became a huge success in Pakistan and other Muslim countries, and helped to promote a more conservative and Islamic dress code.

Despite his success as an Islamic preacher and entrepreneur, Junaid’s life was not without tragedy. In 2016, he was tragically killed in a plane crash while traveling to Islamabad with his wife. The accident shocked the nation and left his millions of fans around the world mourning his loss.

Junaid Jamshed’s journey from pop star to Islamic preacher was a remarkable one, and is a testament to the transformative power of faith. His decision to leave the music industry and dedicate his life to Islam inspired many young Muslims around the world to re-evaluate their priorities and seek a more meaningful life. Although he is no longer with us, Junaid Jamshed’s legacy as a Muslim role model and icon will continue to inspire future generations.
