Wo Buton Ne Daale Hain Was-wasay, Ke Dilon Se Khauf-e-Khuda Gaya
Woh Roaz Pari Hain Kiyamatain, Ke Khayaal e Roz e Jazaa Gaya

وہ بتوں نے ڈالے ہیں وسوسے کہ دلوں سے خوف خدا گیا

وہ روز پڑی ہیں قیامتیں کہ خیال روز جزا گیا

Those idols have entered doubts in our hearts, that fear of true Allah has vanished

There is Judgement days everyday, that fear of real Qayamat has disappeared

Faiz was socialist and he merged romanticism with solicam to create a new genre, which saw poets such as Habib Jalib and Jaun Elia later.
