“The idea of Miraj in Islam is face to face vision of Reality without the slightest displacement of your own ego. It is impossible to forget the words of the Muslim poet who said of the Prophet this much:”

Allama’s Iqbal above quotation is from his personal diary ‘Stray Reflections’. The above Farsi verse translates as:

Moses went unconscious by the glance of Divine illumination [at Toor mountain when God revealed Himself at his request]

You [Prophet Muhammad SAW] observe the core of Reality with a smile
